Post Surgery Lymphatic Drainage
Are you in need of a post op lymphatic drainage massage?

I specialize in working with patients recovering from plastic surgery and am very familiar with the stages of this specific healing process. From liposuction and abdominoplasty, to reconstruction, augmentation, BBL and face-lifts, this gentle, painless technique is particularly helpful in reducing pain, skin tightness and swelling, while stimulating tissue regeneration, putting you on the right path to a quicker recovery with optimal, visible results. In most cases, you will be feeling looser, lighter, in less pain and showing  less
inflammation immediately after the session. Some of Austin and Houston's best plastic surgeons refer their patients to the clinic.

In addition - our top-of-the-line Oakworks Massage Table, allows for Lymphatic Drainage in the supine (face up) or prone position even after having a BBL procedure or after having breast augmentation/reconstruction.
Full Body Lymphatic Drainage
The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that help rid the body of toxins (like mold, for example) waste and other unwanted materials. The primary function of the lymphatic system is to transport lymph, a fluid containing, among others, infection-fighting white blood cells, throughout the body. Many clinical studies show that manual lymphatic drainage results in a strong analgesic (pain decreasing) affect, helps reduce inflammation, swelling and also helps relieve symptoms for those suffering from chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia and autoimmune disease.
Lymphedema
Lymphedema is most commonly caused by the removal of or damage to your lymph nodes as a part of cancer treatment. It results from a blockage in your lymphatic system, which is part of your immune system. The blockage prevents lymph fluid from draining well, and the fluid buildup leads to swelling. Lymphedema is uncomfortable and can be harmful if left untreated. With proper care, lymphedema can effectively be managed or prevented. Please call before setting up an appointment for this treatment so we can discuss your case history and find the appropriate treatment for your specific needs.
